We can weld almost any type of metal, including steel, aluminum, copper, brass, and titanium. However, there are different welding techniques for different types of metals, and choosing the right welding method for the specific material used is important.

Yes, but remove as much rust as possible before starting. Rust weakens the metal and creates impurities that interfere with the welding process and compromise the strength of the finished weld.
In general, we’ll travel about an hour from our home location in Jamestown, Pennsylvania. However, depending on the job and the need, we have gone further. Shappee Welding serves Crawford County, Mercer County, Erie County, Warren County, Forrest County, Butler County and Lawrence County in Pennsylvania. We also service Trumble County, Columbia County and Ashtabula County in Ohio.
Shappee Welding will happily take cash payments but we also accept credit cards and yes, we have Venmo as well.
